What if?
What if the entire world was finally at peace?
What if the sky never grayed?
What if war and violence would finally cease?
What if ones heart never frayed?
What if the diseases and plagues of this
world,
Finally came to an end?
Would angels of kindness with bright wings
unfurled,
Come down to weed and tend?
What if darkness never came again?
What if light found its way,
Into the evil soul keepers den,
To bring another day?
What if light had never existed?
What if it never shined?
Would man never have even missed it?
Are we really that unkind?
What if there was no heaven no hell?
Only life and death?
What if evil ruled and no one could tell,
Of its craftiness and stealth?
What if angels were never cast down?
What if demons never prowled?
Would life even hear a much brighter sound?
Or would it remain mucked and fowled?
