Destiny and Fate

Destiny and Fate

A Poem by

I’ve been a grenade from the moment I was born.

Destiny and Fate conspired to form my complex maze.

I’ve been nothing but a bloodstained thorn.

Fate has covered me in a hateful glaze.

Destiny forged my personality in liquid scorn.

I’m nothing more than a wilting rose awaiting its end.

Destiny and Fate collided to make my life perplexing.

I’ve been waiting for the knots in my head to unbend.

Fate has bound my heart to endless obstacles of complexity.

Destiny handpicked me as the head of this new depressing trend.

I’ve been nothing but a burden to those who bother.

Destiny and Fate assembled to give me as much hell as possible.

I’d like to meet those who created me, my story’s author.

Fate has dictated every level of pain for me plausible.

Destiny personally delivered me to Earth’s ending slaughter.
