Not the Normal Broken Heart

Her heart is broken once more. 

Why is the quality of empathy so poor?

Those actions have smacked her against the floor. 

She's dead inside, was she alive before? 

He claims love without a valid sacrifice.

See how it tears apart her sanity? 

She no longer see's love and  humanity,

but see's through his excessive vanity. 

This is not the normal broken heart.

From the start she was torn apart. 

He wasn't meant to be the one to fix her broken pieces.

He tries, but with each passing day her pain increases.
