You've Proved Nothing

Is it enough to say that I don’t know who I am anymore?

I don’t understand why you’re the one I've fallen for.

I've torn through my feelings like looking through a dresser drawer,

All I can find are feelings I swore to ignore.

A battle between my head and my heart,

Where does the pain end and the love start?

 

You whisper all those sweet, sweet things to me,

But you've proved nothing to make me believe.

I feel like I've fallen undersea and you’re the only

One who can see, but you won’t save me.

I felt like you held the key to help me flee my feelings,

But you’re just here to torture me until I plea to be set free.

Wow!!! You know its just a lovely thing to ready and feel like it was written for you the way you relate to it... This is a lovely poem.

I wrote this because there's this guy that really likes me and is always telling me sweet stuff and calling me beautiful and stuff, but he has a girlfriend, and I try not to get between them but it's so hard because I like him so much and I swore I'd ignore the way I feel because of the girl he's dating, but I can't ignore my heart.
