Disappointment

Curse this freezing numbness.

With you it's only sadness.

It breaks my heart,

This feeling from the start.

Life's bitterness is tart,

Ripping me apart. 

Feelings, could I live without?

I have for years, no doubt.

I know there's no point,

All I do is disappoint.

I thought you would understand how broken I am.

I'm sorry I survive living life with phlegm.
