Raindrop

Raindrop

A Poem by

Simple, Plain.

She falls with the rain.

She’s a single drop,

Waiting to hit the ground.

Flop.

Plop.

Slop.

The drops fall nonstop.

What a lovely poem!!! It would be one I would read to my little children.
Haven´t seen onomatopoeias on a poem for a while, and that´s what made me smile.
Somehow I can imagine the journey of that drop, and thought "how long a raindrop can live?" Maybe a couple of minutes, starting at the moment it precipitates from a cloud to the moment it hits the ground.

I liked it a lot, great poem! :D
