Befriending Landscapes

Befriending Landscapes

A Poem by
"

A poem about nature, and how it will never betray you. If Earth can pull through it's struggles, so can you!

"
The Earth is in battle constantly
Keeping things in balance
Managing to keep us safe and sound
Despite it's enemies efforts
Earth beat it's opponents with talent.
Peer ahead at the sky
Don't you see?
The beautiful land we are consumed by
Earth is a giant, stronger than it seems.
You go on with life
Waving off the struggles of nature
Too worried about your affairs
If nature can do it, you can pull through...
So never fret, don't be scared.
Our world is a legend
A mysterious force of enlightenment
Each day I gaze out in it's scenes
Catching my breath at the nature for a second.
Always remember that you can reach
Whatever goal you want to accomplish
Then look into the honest skies
Reminding yourself that you and Earth
Are attached at heart, a sacred team.

I agree the Earth may go on. It will be different. Us human are a bit different. We need water and food. I agree with the logic of change. Change is necessary for us to become better in treating the planet and the people. I hope. I like the ending of the excellent poem.

I have read many books about Native Americans. This poem seems to see the world the way they once did (and many still do). If we stay in touch and balance with Earth we stay in touch and balance with life.

Well done.
