Why Do I Want You

This is about my last relationship which I'm almost over. What happened it horrible and I keep looking back on it. And it tortures me so I decided to write this poem.

Why Do i want you

I should hate you for eternity

But all I feel is pity

I want us to be over

But I want us to be closer

I just want to hold you

But you split my heart in two

I am so confused

No matter what I'll lose

Why do I want you

 

I should hate you always

Is what my friends say

But even when I pray to above

I cannot fall out of love

Why did you do this

Why did you cheat

You held him in the darkness

Instead of loving me

Were all those words lies

Do you want me to be deceased

Cut me and hurt me

Why won't you love me

I'm in the corner crying

There's nothing I can do

Why the hell Do I love you

Touched my feelings as this is how I am now and I keep letting myself get hurt over and over again the situation with my ex has got so ridiculous now but I'll do anything to stop myself from losing him completely good work

It isn't easy to forget someone that fast...It's normal to keep looking back on your past memories...Love goes on like that and no matter how you try to change it, I assure it would be hard for you...

This is so heart wrenching to read. You loved her so much that it blinded you to her secrets. That was very well described throughout, really well in between the lines and behind the anger you project with your words. How bout you put those other feelings hiding in your poem?? You can still love her and be angry at the same time. It reads as a conflict, to me anyway, almost like you feel guilty inside for loving her anyway, despite her flaws and poor judgement. (I worded it that way because I don't know her and/or the situation. Don't want to offend) You've written this with great emotion and there are many of them running through here.... Nice write.. :)
