Three Months Until My Fate is Decided

I hope you guys enjoy this. I haven't tried this style before in poetic form. I hope you enjoy

Today I’m gonna be honest with you

I cried like a real man should

For the one I love is no longer in my sight

She’s doing this thing called graduating

 

Now I knew it would happen

Us being just friends

She knows I want to be more

But she keeps saying the same thing to me

 

Just wait until the end of the summer

That’s when we will start our relationship

After I finally get settled down

Then our love can truly flourish

 

There’s only one problem that I fear

Will you leave me standing here?

I feel defenseless to your words

I soak in everything you say

 

Analyzing every move

I’m stuck in a game of chess

For when you start college

You’ll meet many new people

 

You’ll meet jocks

You’ll meet geeks

You might even meet

The guy that sweeps you off your feet

 

You try to be friends with everyone

Half of them tease you

You just seem unaware of them

How do you do it?

 

I just want to kill them all

For saying that stuff to you

But I don’t

I know you don’t want that

 

I realized today that I love you

You are the girl I want to be with when I die

But I just keep wondering

Will I get the chance?

 

I wanted to say that I don’t want to wait

But the words didn’t leave my lips

Instead I only got a hug

But I might never get my kiss

Wow I really liked this. Also reminds me of my boyfriend who's away at college. We've been together since junior year high school and we both started our sophomore year in college a few weeks ago. Still together, but it's so hard not seeing him all the time

expressed. People don't wait, they rot.

Have patience.
She appears honest in her commitment.
Don't kill the teasers right now.
Put them with the law enforcers.
Let them handle those nonsense teasers.
