~ Like dust in the wind...

"

~ Ardens Amor, - Potestatem Ventum Fortis

In the roads where I lost you, I found you back in the writing of the stars

If I missed you, the music flowed through the ether,

And with true color I could relive our realm…

Your presence was always slightly more than anyone could ever afford

The problems were gone as gold for the sun to shine,

And you were the days with no days but deeper nights.

Like time, was not to grow, but standing still all divine.

The strength of the northern atmosphere so far, but the same routing

Seas are small but insignificant waters, as love is lightly universal

Wondering thoughts so powerful words found in disclosure

The mills by the Dutch landscape, blowing in the round,

If I ever get closer to you again,  please do keep sending me the wings

Or some windmills to blow me in dusty ways to the other side of the world

Like the cryptic logical thinking had lost by the heart of simplicity

And the wind just was more powerful, than any rational thought…

There is nothing more beautiful than the force of desire, in the deepest illusion

From here and now, nothing is as keen as everyone infatuated with it to live

Just let me be in former times, as I go away from here, with my beloved

In landscapes painted by Monet, and a harmony of perfection

Where this world only by morals and meaninglessness shall be left behind…

And no grace shall turn, as all is dead and transience within the core of ruining

They can melt together in tides of peace, of purity and culture,

Where nothing is too commercial, nor too expensive, just honest and upfront

And yet the love was something special, where poetry was written, and appreciated,

The wavy hair, clothing and thoughts that were not clichéd but profound.

Where they could see themselves proper to be, and not walked behind the fashion…

And values were richer than the gold we handled in Amsterdam,

And were salt, pepper, and spices, were gold for food.

If I close my eyes, I imagine myself back in a time machine

Where he and I together by the windmills will be found

Pushing and flowing, like sailors in a storm, and waves to drown,

But the inner strength will not sink, but overcome the highest trouble

Like strength in a mother with a new born child,

Or the freedom of being is not left behind, within the journey

If the sun and moons, reflection are no time but just real love...

Thank you for the amazing poem. I like these type of poem. Could have a discussion about each set of lines. Filled with strong and positive thoughts. I like the way you use the language. Making the statements have strong and reason. A outstanding poem.

Wondeful, "like the cryptic logical thinking had lost by the heart of simplicity." This is brilliant and touches on so many levels. First, the meaning of finding love, loosing it and rekindling the music is a best seller. Unheard of in this time today with everything moving so much faster than then. Second, philosophy rings the alarm in the depths of mind so far apart from each other requires a heightened intellect of thought and sharing of virtues. Finally, the autocracy or symposium of people meeting to speak and entertain, or woo. I love this very much, it brings me back to my other life as a freethinking Englishman speaking to you in the corner of a full room with others listening to my words, but hearing the song of my soul. Lovely! Thank you for sharing this intimate and honest write. 100 X :)

Your words speak to me of such a longing. Such a deep and everlasting love you have described here. It is a thing of beauty when it is found. Sister, I hope you find your windmill! I hope that Dutch breeze of yours carries you there on those wings!
