~ A Conspiracy Theory in the Subconscious

Dreaming, deeper falling, feeling intense adrenaline...

Rushed through the veins, like a free fall with eyes closed

Seeing and knowing you’re going to die, as you got a warning

In a reflect of another  time zone, where a man on distance

Whispered this to you… so poignant and anxious…

Tomorrow you’re not here anymore, as at 8:00 PM you die

His words echo still through my mind, as I do not understand why…

Standing in a room now, with huge open windows, curtains aren’t there

As if they were left, on purpose to hit me better…

I see my sharpshooter in front of me loading his gun, watching through

His loop his right hand moves and turns, as he sharps me, and observes me

I feel that I must lie down and crawl through the place of destination,

As my whole family is next to me, and whispers me to stay low

Two shots through the window, in my higher air line did hit a painting

As I crawl further to reach another chamber,  full in fear, my heart skips,

The high European doorposts are an obstacle, as I must be

Careful, but quickly, and keeping my mind together…

My family rarely enough all standing on their feet, and are watching me

As they don’t help, and just whispering, like zombies, to me,

The sound of their voices, is so dull and stunned, like they aren’t there

For real and all is distorted, or maybe I’m turning deaf?

I can’t hardly breathe, I feel myself dizzy, but I must stay low,

I must have been collapsed, So badly in the black hole

As I walk from one moment to another on a green forest

And see green around me except the path I walk down

It is full of pebbles, in various shades, and forms

Free? Am I free? I walk, and walk, still somewhat restless

When I turn my head, he is there again… the sharpshooter

Ha ha ha…. You thought you were rid of me?

He yelled… and I tried to run, but he warned me to,

“Look at the ground” he said, look carefully…

In each square meter, I outlined a fall are you sure to run?

You can fall in a hole, or step on a mine,

My labyrinth for you are all my booby traps

You’re not escaping your faith, you shall die…

The next moment I fell down, as I wasn’t focused enough

Deeper and deeper… and woke up all sweaty

I was alive. I still was... looking around... It was just a dream,

A bad one… as I have them rarely, but those in my top 5

I made, I shall never forget, as they are burning Conspiracy Theories

In the lower Subconscious, Didn’t you had some of those in your life?

You want to write down? as they are burned on your retina...?

I wonder… ;)

I love this Elisa, the unspeakable visions of an individual, an interior monologue, the eye within the eye, writer/director of earthly movies sponsored and angeled in heaven!

The double negation (can't hardly breathe) however, is almost unforgivable, bad Elisa! ;P

I suppose its a little too obvious to say this is very filmic. But it is. The tension and the build up is very real and precise. Interesting write.

Oh Elisa, this was so creepy, and I could vividly experience this in my mind as you spun your story...

I hate having bad dreams, last night I dreamed I was attacked by a huge fat rattlesnake, but I was able to whack it away just in time! I think the most bothersome thing about dreams like this it they haunt you, with their vividness you can picture them so clearly that they become a memory, and even worse if you have ever had a dream that came true, which I have several times, these horrible vivid dreams give fears they could be like that too...

So lets dream about sakura tonight instead...

Dreams are a rich source of information. We would be remiss if we did not pay attention to that stream of information that we are subjected to every time we close our eyes. I myself have documented some of my own dreams, in the hope that I would learn something, or capture some Truth. When we experience a dream, such as the one you had, that is so powerful, so real that you can not ignore––––then it must be recorded... Bring it into this realm, and learn from it. Or just turn it into magic, into art. Thank you for sharing this one Eli

I've had a dream like that, and it was so bizarre. I was seen on a roof in a business suit, drinking a cup of coffee. I was refined, stable, calm, content with the way life is for me. Behind me is another man, also in a business suit holding a sniper rifle, hiding from me. He was nothing like me; he looked like he was in constant stress, like he wanted freedom from worry. He was scared, but he had to do the task he gave himself. He takes two looks, aims his weapon, and pulls the trigger. Before I could even see the exchange, I saw red, and I heard a shot. I don't know what happened after that, but I see myself kissing what I thought was my one true love, in a red letter jacket. We were in a restaurant, sitting in a booth, enjoying the company we had. It's like I had a nightmare and a dream in one night.

Oh, I LOVE! It could have been a short summary in the beginning of an action movie. Before I read that it was just a dream, I could have swore this actually happened to you. I'm just sitting here on the edge of my seat while scrolling through your amazing words. I like how you put the "haha" because I learned a lot about the shooter; he seems like he's condescending. Its amazing that you say we want to write our dreams down to read for a later time and try to decipher them. It's just so difficult because by the time we wake; we've already had about 10 dreams and they've all been lost...or have they? Maybe we think about our dreams all the time, we'll just never know. Liking the wink at the end. Winks are always appreciated ;)

To write a dream, a nightmare, you have to sleep.. how you managed to do so in more than a few flickers of lash i don't know! This has edginess, raw fear, a strange feeling- near immediacy, that the dreamer will wake up and the reader will never know the ending! Guess the latter comes from the gasp of each line, the way you've created amazing movement; more a fast flowing cartoon strip.. on and on. Great and impressive writing, Elisa. Must count ten, and, relax now!

My sweet sister, what a dream.....what a nightmare. I have dreamed of being stabbed most of my life and I love guns but am dreadfully afraid of knives. My husband was murdered by a knife and fire and I wonder now were my dreams premonitions of his death......maybe so since I no longer have them....heed your dreams. They mean something. love you
