My dear friend, although it is in the first person I interpreted this piece as a walk between the personal experiences of two people. The narrator dives into her personal realm, to feel, to imagine, to love, to walk away. But it is a seperate (not necessarily different but seperate) experience from her lover. And in that negative space created by the words, one can't help but think of that lover, what is he thinking? Is he okay with this outcome? To that subjective trap, there is reconciliation in both characters experienceing the same thing, i.e., the rain storm that she is witness to and the music it creates on his widowpane . . . or mutual love, itself. There is a weave in his poem of touch and distance that is absolute magic and requires great skill to achieve. Thank you for posting.

I truly appreciate you, I was kinda busy the whole week, and this weekend. Not had much time to be here... I do love it what you got out of this, and I appreciate your reviews very much, you really read things. Thank you W.
Though it is of the Romantic period, I found myself walking in Caspar David Friedrich's Moonlit night painting forlorn and pensive. You often send me there, though I've not visited the cafe in far too long. It is sad and beautiful...yet light lingers in the remote sense of togetherness or at least thought-soul-memory connection between the one missing and the missed. "I make love to words" oh yes...yes, you do, lovely one.
Dreamily dark and beautifully poetic with a strong hint of melancholy. These words are like magic. Why have I been away so long? I'm glad I came back to visit your art. I could spend all day reading you.
Your style suits you, Elisa...it defines who you are as a poet, and what you've come to mean to me. At times, I find myself not knowing what to say to appropriately capture what it is you send reeling within me - every time I read you!
What a true sensation you are! x

"Love is like the wind, my man,
We are like the stream of essence
It comes and goes, when it feels the need;"
I enjoyed the complete poem. The above lines stood out for me. I like the feel and the feel of mystery in the words. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

This is fantastic! I haven't read your stuff in a while and now I am glad i stopped by, the last line really hits you hard, says so much. Ultimately that is all we long for, to touch and feel another. Great piece Elisa!

Your poem reads like an answer to 'What is love?' You've covered emotions so deeply entrenched in body and spirit that maybe we each feel you know us all, deeply, intimately .. or perhaps, who knows, love has its root in your psyche..
This is more than baroque.. this is Everything past, present and future.. tis for man or woman, lovers all, together, apart.. gone by, here now and yet to be found. What you write is special.. love.
