Elisa, I must say I find this poem most mesmerizing. I find myself lost in its silent music, wandering in a world of both darkness and light. I enjoyed every minute of it; the never-ending journey to the loved one, to the brightest furthest star. One so hopeless, yet still so full of hope. Great job.

These two lines, to me, would have to be my favorite because they have a lot of meaning. Though you may be flying to search for 'the brightest one and only', you are still able to dream and keep the hopes alive of one day finding that one. A very powerful piece and it's true what you say: 'Love is eternal'.

After reading your star struck personification., I decided to do the same by writing some stellar twinkly winkly lines.

And I enjoy every little collaboration you bring to one of mine, :) with those stellar words, you do silver shine... lol (now that's not correct English is it?) haha

Twinkly is an adjective, but winkly is a fabrication derived from wink. I think that “Winkle” is a Dutch name as in Rip van Winkle who winked off for twenty years under a tree in New Amsterdam before the Duke of York changed it to New York.

Hehe, yes, that could be, indeed, like it's still spelled a bit English, but it could also coming from "Winkel" which mean "store" in Dutch, like "van" is from" to English, so he's a man who once had ancestors from the shop... but that's to research better, I love the thought you bring here though. Lovely history we have no? With Harlem and New York... ;)

The name ‘Winkle” could have derived from “ periwinkle” which is an evergreen plant with pink, white, and blue flowers used as ground cover. Rip van Winkle was ground cover for twenty years. In that case “Winkle” has the Latin root “vincire” which means to bind ( to the ground).

Great you teach me this! thank you, that is indeed a better root to the name... I like the term "Vincere" since I lived in Italy, it means to win, to conquer, it's indeed then also leaded from Latin, as you explain here :)

It almost makes me think that you've experienced this yourself, especially where you reference the dreams. Filled with deep and profound imagery, well done.
