The forgotten energy pathways

The ones, once so lost,

Rusty  and numb;

Now, no oblivion  anymore

Your deep look,

Of a thousand heavens,

To speak , I catch…

 

Where words, fall in silence

As little snowflakes

Before our Sun rises,

To land in my heart

Well, it's been a long time since I've reviewed one of your works my dear sis, but I'm here now :) This is a more upbeat work than what I've read from you in the past...I only hope it is a reflection of real life for you, for there is clearly real love in it. Your deep look, Of a thousand heavens...oh how I long for one of those looks, but I tend not to inspire that many heavens in people, at least not in the opposite gender haha It is a joy to read you again, especially when I read works of this nature...all the best my friend...love always :) xo

i wonder if death does dance...if there is triumph or significance in much (if any) of this....your words and sentiment would be the perfect counter arguement...it does, there is, and we are....

Elisa, this is incredibly romantic (and close to my heart)! "The ones, once so lost/Rusty and numb/Now, no oblivion anymore." That is just so poetically stunning, and tells a grand story in just a few words.

And as Pryde said below, I too love the first stanza, especially "You brought me back to/The forgotten energy pathways/of my nervous system." It's not only incredibly descriptive as a metaphor, but to me, it has such a spiritual feel to it.

I know there is true love out there, it just takes time and patience to find it, right? ;-)
