Thirsty, I saw you,

In my REM sleep,

You seemed to move my eyes,

With your silent music;

 

Fiery notes, rapid gaps,

But deep spirited colors,

Overcome the void

With a warm feeling,

 

It brought unfathomable passion,

By silky thoughts,

Burning in my mind,

Singing in my deepest pain,

 

Howling like hungry wolves,

In a chilly night, where the moon

Smiles with her big pale face

 

“Dust we are, in gray matter;

She whispers….”

 

But colorful as a significant other

Who shall visit you,

With the love of music;

 

And plays the strings of your heart

As if he lost himself

Just right there…

Gorgeous and supremely deep poetic work, Elisa (as always)! I've read this piece twice, and there's almost always something I just can't decipher. But perhaps it's better that way!

"It brought unfathomable passion/By silky thoughts," is possibly my favorite stanza out of all of them. But the story as a whole is supremely mystical and filled with magnificent beauty.

The message I've somewhat gathered from it is that someone (personified as the moon in your vision) was telling you of a "significant other" who would visit you, possibly in this dimension, communicating with "silent music," as you put it.

Of course, there is more depth to it than a simple review can explain, but I sense that you have many dimensions through which you travel, and these things are revealed to you in those dimensions. The poetry reflects that as best it can.
