~ Impermanent

The shimmer on the ceiling,

       Made her eyes sleepy,

If water waves reflection danced

Quiet circles,  further in her mind,

Gently hypnotize

       Of her many thoughts

Emptying her memory

       Feeding the flourishing  fate

Dragged by bright rays

      Quiet dreams

In larger dimension

      Of her so elected tunnel

But impermanent, was her memory

      Dreamed of hues in mystery,

She never knew what happened,

      Until the day began,

Until the day began,

      Anew, and anew…

And for so many years,

     Like the time stood still…

This is so beautiful, in a range of ways that I struggle to express by the use of words. I'm crying... You know the reason... Sigh :')

You were let into someone else's field of flowers, someone's personal experience and reality. You accepted what was shown with an open core, and that of which you perceived you turned into art. Truth cannot be understood before it is felt, and the heart needs no proof. However, I do believe there's a subconscious reason to your fast acceptance on the matter at hand, certainly.

Gosh... I can think of no greater present to be given by a friend, than one of such immense trust and creativity.

You grew a flower, here x

Thank you so much Pryde, for your review.
I can relate to this write in many ways Eli. Yes, I could see the dreaming and the otherworldly thoughts, but for me, I see more concrete meaning.
I see a loved one with Alzheimer's loosing her memory. There is a special sadness in this thought.
I see also can see lovers forgetting the good times they had together and moving away from each other.
Yet, I can see a loving heart forgetting the pains of past hurts as well.
You lead the mind to see the near death experience of the "light at the end of the tunnel", only you do not say it is light. You give us more mysterious considerations and possibilities in this write.
I personally love your last stanza. I always feel it is good to leave yourself and the reader with hope. You do this well eve with the sad truth held true to the intention of the write. The years, the time, it is lost forever. Somehow, we start new each moment or each day and find a way to begin again. Even if it is in the next life.
Worth waiting for. ;)
Yes, it is good to have a buddy like you too.

Thank you very much Rachel for the kind words. :)
Hi Raven Sis

The poem could be about a person that is laying down looking up at a spinning fan while the ceiling lights reflect heat waves influencing control of her thoughts while her in a comfortable state to view her concerns and waking up in the morning realizing the previous night has stayed behind.

Or it could be about a person that was abducted and her brain has a hard time figuring the events and stays quiet because most persons dont know how to provide comfort or solutions in those type of situations adding to her confusion.

I like the author's intellectual ability in which the protagonist situation is artistically approached and described.

The first three stanza made me thing of alien abduction, :D, reminds me of the documentaries that says they abduct you and studies you, afterwards erase your memory of the said event. Despite those fictional theme, I see, how fragile is our memories, how delicate our dreams that comes as they go, or how time just stood still untouchable always unreachable...

so beautiful, big sis...

Thank you very much my friend... also for the 100, I'm so pleased you felt my poem. Elisa :)
I know this could be about someone trying to forget a lost love, but deeper between the lines I read it like someone who is starting to get alzheimer disease. Either way very powerful words.
