From dark shades, and glimpses of reality,

I dreamt you all again, and so vividly

This time a little different though,

You all knew me, by the scent of life,

And followed me across the canals

To this castle where we seem to be now

 

I whispered through thin air, and clouds

Of fresh dew of March, you’d may enter

The gate of my heart, and as I wished I

Was there too, but I escaped

Into another chamber of thoughts

 

Yet, the masqueraded perfume still flew

Across the halls of hope, and the

Doors of the heart chambers, where locked;

The red ceiling, and the golden curls above

Merged with white plaster art

 

Where swinging  in front of the imagination of

Understanding this real dream, yet I felt it;

Far away music, from one of the rooms,

And I turned around, I saw you there

 

All standing and saying nothing;

And as we looked to each other deep 

In the eyes, so felt each other, and

Sang a song, of poetic dreams;

Of lucid dreams, inside of our distance

It is curious how people that have never physically met can feel such a deep connection to one another. Coincidence upon coincidence may be no coincidence at all, but something that was meant to be.

We observe these commonalities, synchronicities, dreams that touch dreams that touch reality. At times we know what will come to pass by forefeeling as of visions from sleep, and I do wonder, now and again, why?

Really, that specific perfume you smelled, hours later I am still like, wuutt??

I am thankful for these invisible strings that connect minds alike, the works of the Universe, these magnetic vibes which brought me both of you. I know we are many in this wonderful write of yours for your heart is immense, a glorious castle, to house all :) It is where you have us dancing and singing, in your European warmth, we are beating too.

The opening of your start with picture of, "Eyes Wide Shut" and then I looked at your title again..."Enter my World" was thinking Elisa has plan something unique and different...and when I read your work the treat understood. Such a stylish write and presented in a daring manner. Bravo!

Oh another who has hollywood, in his mind, before understanding my write sorry, I think I am going to change the picture, for I didn't knew it was from the movie..... while this wasn't meant like that lol.... Do you know what that means? "Enter my World?" I mean, did you noticed, I live not in Europe, on here, nor in USA, nor in Australia? but somewhere else? :) wink.... I am grateful for your words though, but I rather not seem to be compared with "Eyes wide Shut" for this poem, has a real different other meaning, that is way more rich, than the movie.....ever was.

The picture from "Eyes Wide Shut" is interesting with this poem. Masks and rituals from the movie, shadows and desires from the dream...
Saying nothing and yet knowing...
Even at a distance there is a true knowing, especially in dreams.
Intriguing and curiously magnetic write.

Also thank you David, for such a beautiful review, and you are the second one who mention the movie with Nicole Kidman, and Tom Cruise, however I didn't knew this picture was from that movie, I had a pure dream, and wrote it out, again as I do often, I explained to jacob beneath a bit it's purpose, I'm in touch with my close friends lately, and they all seemed to have been in my dream, this night, I even smelled their perfume, in a ballroom of dance....(for this was just a glimpse of the wholeness of it). It's so interesting... the movie Eyes Wide Shut was sexually based, that was not the "case" here... I just had to explain, thank you nevertheless for such a great review, (logical you think of that movie) but for me it has moer a connection, of my past, when I lived really in Italy, and in Venice, as well as in Naples, and Milan, I think my dreams, are telling me, I miss Italy, as I miss real connections, to my soul-mates. It was a pleasure to read this poem. I never thought it was about being sexual at all... The movie is actually not about sex as much as it is about opening one's eyes I think. Dreaming is powerful, but there is no point if we do not build a new day when we wake...It is OK to dream of the past and even the future as long as we don't dream away the now.
I honestly thought your poem was about the ability to see truth and to know reality in our dreams.

It was more I dreamt, of 4/5 good friends, in this dream I had yesterday night, into this.... there are a few, and one of them had a simular dream at the same time, so I wonder why this is... and wrote (my version out) we seem so connected, that this happened in the "now" not the past... so it's quite unique... (I personally even smelled even the "right" perfume) of this person, without knowing the person did used it in real life. And later I got the evidence... I'm still analyzing, together with them, how this could happen... I find it fascinating.

i was thinking more of a connection to that movie in the surrealistic sense...not necessarily the sexual aspect of it..the masks we wear. we all fit into some puzzle don't we? all pieces that sometimes we try to force to fit.
