~ Paradise

I air kissed you, from afar,

     My hand upon my mouth,

  My love, I did reach out;

And well dear, to your land,

I lived in a dream for way too long,

      In darkened visions, of you and me;

      Now the day is here;

  I arrived in our Paradise,

The fields of hope, and trust

Nothing is more intense,

     To smell your skin, to touch your hair;

   And to burn with you to dust

Timeless, ethereal feel. Maybe its the music but you remind me of Arwen from Lord of the Rings in your expression of that passion.

'my love, I did reach out; and well dear, to your land' captures your way of speaking so nicely, your soft maternal instinct for this lover. It makes you feel close. the 'to burn with you to dust' line, I can picture tears streaming down Arwen's face as she looks at the relic of Striders bust, condemned to immortality. This is the most powerful montage in the Award Winning Trilogy that I was raised on, so don't take that complement lightly!

................ :) there is well, so much more.... if we let in.
In this Paradise,
you need not fear
the shadowlike demons
with eyes so blind.

My arms embrace you
Gracefully, with élan
A mesmeric affection
That completes our bond,

Surely living eternally.

I sleep my way into the paradise of dreams
viewing, reliving the beauty of love and its realms.

night becomes colorful days,
fantasies shines in so many ways.

in a world, were love is within me
dreaming of what's beyond fantasy.

I did ............. my friend thank you ;-)
I love the contrasts and associations here...Your soul is in the familiar land, with your love, which is Paradise. But what is actually? Paradise of the heart, of touch of hope, of all closeness. Paradise of your love. And then you could give up all that, even the "paradise" for the burning flames of your beloved touch...No matter the place, some things are eternal. Brilliant piece!

That is exquisitely torrid and romantic. You have created such beauty and emotion within the context of your words. Another marvelous poem from your pen.

This poem is a kind of paradise. Elegant in it's beautiful show of love. To me this poem says that love can bloom no matter how far away people are from each other.
