 ~ The Heat Rays,

          Will Die Frozen

I shall arise, and go now,

Through the darken night,

I'm so lost in;

Your selfish pity monster,

Shining furious fake warmth;

On my night of happiness;

My daylight slumber,

My hypothetical septic matter,

The trend of your pithiness

I can't handle, the crap of ourselves,

This pathetic playful attention;

My fingers I have so crossed...

Entwined in yours, so lost;

It's you that shall be frozen,

When I'm frozen frost,

And seas of suicide...

How, overwhelming the pain, painted into your words, big sis. More often, the battle within is such epic proportion – “the crap of ourselves”. Sometimes, we do release it upon words of words of painful agony, until it froze in our creative craft. Immortalizing it into poetry, verse by verse, to find the answers, the healing element of the core meaning.

I believed that, when someone read it(our poetic personas, like this piece), then when someone understood what it feels and can relate to it somehow in one way or another, perhaps it brings good effect on us to be stronger than what we believed we are not, atleast that’s what I think so.

I’ve known you big sis, for quite some time now, and I know you write from a very deep perspective. So I believed this piece was taken from a very hard times or decisions or situations in your life or someone else or an experienced what you’ve seen or heard or felt. I think only a very sensitive soul can write such deep psychological perspective.

“My hypothetical septic matter” ~ so very intense, because I do believed that our own thoughts can be very poisonous if not handled very well, and in so many cases we will drown in the “seas of suicide”.

Hugs, big hugs… know that your never alone or this person, that’s what I always tell myself. It’s a big black tunnel we pass through, sometimes we just have one light guiding us and that’s more than enough for us to keep going toward the brighter path. To find that light is just a matter of self-knowing and understanding bright-sides of things hard, I know it will be hard but it’s worth a shot every time you try, so never give up is always an uplifting value.

Intense piece!

Boy Howdy! This poem left my heart cold with the thought of suicidal self pity...
It is real. This frozen potential heartache holds captured in hopeless stasis.

The heat is not always warm. It wears different masks. We follow paths and find the chill creep up on us until we are frozen in place. There are those who will suck the life from you, sometimes bit by bit, other times in huge gulps. Perhaps that sea of suicide will also freeze and the frosted one feeling the sun will become limber and walk away across that sea of possibilities.

And so frozen on this path I stand, staring off into the words that crumble on crooked fencelines, casting pain off into the vast white of flurried oblivion, and bid the past a farewell. Elisa, this was beautiful, sad, and touching. We all face obstacles, but the strong overcome these detours and run happily into the dawn of a new day.

Sometimes it is better to hide the pain and the problems from the world. Too many people saying sweet cliched words can push us into the downward spiral of self-pity. That is never a good thing. Such dark emotions expressed in this intense write, Elisa. Always wonderful to read your words, but I hope you are doing okay. Knuffels, Lydi**

I could feel the emotion in your words Elisa. There is no doubt in my mind this was written from your heart. You write with depth - I admire that. Another fantastic poem my friend.

There are times when words comfort hurt.. too often the angriest or more vehement words heal the worst hurt. Can't escape emotions; need to somehow, somehow endure them, let them out into the air, not fester, not scar the spirit. And you, dear Elisa, have a wonderful spirit.. fly it to the moon and lie in its silver light a while. Please. (you)
