~ Along the River

I stared, for hours;

Until I felt a warm hand

On my shoulder,

     So I turned around

To catch a glimpse of your face,

A fragment of touch;

     And I saw nothing,

Not even you, but you were there,

I knew we traveled to Japan,

     It was another river,

     Another air;

On the “Shinano”

We are and stare...

While the Sun arises

    In a golden light,

And the day would come soon,

     You just touched

           A bit of the so

Silver  moon.

You write dreams into existence, it seems. I'm really loving this music, but that shouldn't surprise you, haha.

Another lovely dreamscape, you have such romantic dreams Elisa! This had a lovely flow, the picture and the red words really helped, but on their own the words would have sent me floating down the Shinano.

wat ga je doen met Oud en Nieuw? I bet something romantic :)

Well written and well read.

This a great feeling. I like how it covers the space of a day and also multiple countries and continents. There is a touch of the surreal in the way you can take the opening lines as reality and also as metaphor.

You are welcome:P
Echoing memories linger in the rays of the golden Sun, in the susurrations of the whispering wind, in the breaking waves lapping at the shore and tickling the toes of our feet. The world carries our history in its heart too, written across the landscape in a language unique to each of us. Amazing poem, as always Elisa :)

Thank you very much Scott, for your encouragement.. so appreciated :)
This is so deep and so memorably romantic. I'm trying to figure out who was with you on this piece. Your wording are so mystifying that it keeps me guessing while reading . But I think that there's no one with you. Just a memories of that someone or somebody you used to know and still dear and close to your heart mind and soul. His scents and ghost still lingers in your own realms. :)
