My so long cold heart and

These high snowy peaks,

He once left me, 

And flew away,

For years, 

To freedom...

 

Today my feelings 

Are spread like golden rays,

Along the underlying rivers,

Where sunrise twinkles,

 

And the snow slowly melts,

Into fallen raindrops

Softly on the so high trees,

 

I watch further then I can see,

The sky is white of misty thoughts,

And grey of other mountains,

 

They are black on top,

Where they think

Higher than the clouds…

 

I could feel him

Strongly coming

From afar

 

With his dark and

 Wide open wings into

My direction,

 

To land softly 

On my sensitive

Heartstrings 

And to bloom

With the deepest 

 

Music

Inside of me.

Amazingly beautiful Elisa. The musical accompaniment was perfect. I feel like soaring with your piece above the mountains and alps. I'm fascinated by the elegance of your words connecting yourself with nature. Your mortal and physical body though confined and yet you can free up your mind and spirit by connecting with creatures that soar high and above their circumstances, in beautiful poetic words... I feel like soaring with the eagles high above the things that obscures and limit me and up there I see freedom from my past and momentary disconnection from the things that binds and hinders me. From the inside , you saw the bigger picture and wider perspective.

I think you have worded the intention pretty well, on this one my dear friend... I have an inner eagle, a muse. And sometimes, he flies away for years, but he always comes back... thank you for the insightful review, I so appreciate you Neil.

I daresay that you possess a skill with the pen that I cannot match. Your words meld together in such perfect synthesis, to create verses that project wondrous and vivid images within the mind of the reader, while simultaneously giving the heart a reason to beat.
