~ Energy

Under the sunset in our vision,

And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

You smelled like dusty earth mixed

With my old volcanic soil,

The cemetery was flowered

With cherry blossom,

But only we could see the

Other side so green,

You embraced my soul, and life,

With your dead smile embroiled in

Beauty,

               You knew me, as I you…

Your dark hair

Danced down my cheeks

With the help of the wind,

And our bones became one…

I am stunned. This is gorgeous. I agree. lol Perfectly done!! The visuals and romantics lol are to die for. Such beautiful energy felt here while engaged in this story of two dead lovers. Soul-mates.

Under the sunset in our vision,
And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

The beginning is so powerful, setting the air for the depth it precedes. The idea of the dust mixing. Being at last complete. Looking with eager eyes at the other side while in each other arms.. Wow! This poem is perfect Elisa. Truly xx

The music mixed with your words is almost too much to handle. I have goose bumps. This piece is so romantic, simply a brilliant description of true love, beautiful in life and beyond :) I was really, very moved. A fantastic work of art this is, just incredible.

Wow, that was... Wow, I'm at a loss for words. That was incredible. Uhmm, I'm sorry I'm still stunned. But you need to know, it was so beautiful.

Edit: I read other reviews and yes it seems as though youve captured our feelings so well, we are in agreement that this piece is quite stunning! I can't explain it.

If it wasn't because of joshua deathdealer's review I couldnt be able to understand the whole poem.
There's hidden energy on this poem, like the hidden secrets of a tomb.
It's like the treasure you just found. I felt on this poem like I had a treasure map, and 'till now I wasn't able to follow the map's route to the treasure: it's whole meaning.
I guess energy never ends it's cycle, even after death...
PERFECT!!!!

Stories engraved in stone and narrated by wispy souls long departed. Lovers dancing twixt the cemetery spires, reliving their sweet histories in eternal un-life, the woes of the physical realm forgotten memories. A superb sepulchral poem, Elisa! :)

~duality~ and this clever playfulness of “matter and antimatter” that gives the reader a fantastic roller-coaster ride of feelings and that’s not enough for you ~smiles~ for you just enslave the reader's soul with your closing line “And our bones became one…” such a depth, such a honesty

Lovely and sad romantic image, picture as if from medieval times, but with modern concept. What I love much! Grapes and cherry blossoms and green in contrast to the graves and sadness of smile and bones...Only overcoming the death in energy of love could be forever. And my favorite are these verses:
I felt your warmth, upon my skin;
You smelled like dusty earth mixed
With my old volcanic soil,

So many elements in one, so magical!

Oh thank you very much J. V. :) I'm glad it danced in your heart...
Like the explosion of volcanic magma dusting the fields with ash feeding the grapes to be harvested and stored to age perfectly into tomorrow's wine. One day, the complexity will be appreciated by the experienced palate of your well traveled soul.

Lovely Eli!
