~ And when all is Silent

There trustfully enter,

Soft musical notes

Inside my mind,

From you for me to find;

You bring me further,

To other worlds,

Places, and, by then;

I need nothing more.

For I’m Zen.

You're holding hands,

And are swinging around me,

Like a carousel of love --

That smile on your face, is one

Of priceless beauty,

Beyond the attractive force

Of love, so -- invisible art to

My core.

Not even the smile

You wore, I saw you with

In my dreams,

But you looked different,

This time, with more heart beams...

I tear off my mourning veil,

And kiss your lips;

Fiery women hands,

Around your cheeks…

My nose smells your new skin;

My lips are kissing your face,

And we merge like the essentials of

Panta Rhei …

No more tears, of pain,

I shall combat! for what I’ve lost;

I will donate them, like;

Water to the Earth,

Let them sweetly fall,

On the ground beneath my feet

For growth to come,

There will be new born flows,

Of fresh wind, and water;

Where the resurrected

Fluidly may dance,

All shall be moving, and living,

Within the strength of true love,

Into new tiny creations, of

Life, to live for,

As in my new born heart.

We must die a little to feel a lot... there is a certain pain in birth, as there is in death...
The two are inevitable.. life and death shall meet...
This is a story filled with heartbreak, and healing.. I believe your silence speaks louder than words...

Beautifully penned, Sis!~xoxo~

As always I enjoyed the dream aspects of your poem a lot.

I felt this piece has a different flow to your later poems.

Like the lines "of love so - invisible art to my core" I found the English in this line a bit awkward, also in the line "no more tears of pain, I shall combat!" I found the use of English here awkward, but my point is that I liked it.

Those awkward bits broke up the flow in a way that reminds me of Jazz music.

Dank u wel Elisa, your poems are always a dreamy treat.

I like this piece very much. My favorite part was 8th stanza "I will donate them, like water to the Earth". Such fire in your words. Simply beautiful my friend.

As for the critical review:
"I don't need nothing more"-is a double negative my friend. In English it is frowned upon. Just get rid of "don't" or "nothing" :)

"You're holding both my hands"-just invert the "my" and "both"

"If a carousel of love"-did you mean "in a carousel of love"?

this is the process of shedding one's former self for something anew, hearts don't break they quake the very foundation within systems and supports...that hold long enough until you have the strength again to absorb them through change ...great piece

When I read this, its like a renewed feelings. Love - heartbreak - healing - moving on - in love again - ...the cycle goes in circles, cause it all comes back to being in love again, second time, third time, or being in love over and over to the same person... its an amusing piece, purely expressed with love so deep you flourish big sis,...

I've missed your writing. Reading your hypnotic words while listening to Mary J. Blige's "Love No Limit" is quite the trip!

The blood in your veins is always connected to your pen. Loved the way this ended with renewal. Awesome.

To love again is to be reborn....every relationship allows us to show sides of ourselves we were not even aware of....till the right person drew out certain emotions. The world is reborn after winter leaves....so will you be reborn when the darkness lifts and the beauty surrounds you again. Beautifully written poetry, Elisa. Knuffels, Lydi**
