~ To Daydream

It seems to be my second world,

Only I can enter,

And maybe you will too;

Yes, it’s hard to trace,

At least I see four different

Dilapidated chambers each time,

I close my eyes, and there is maybe more

To sketch, and catch…

I live in different worlds,

In different places,

And I cross over at them

At day, or night…

There is always a new little

World behind my eyelids

I catch up on, I embrace.

And I still hope

To find you there;

However a mind and

Especially a mind like mine,

Can be so terribly

In denial to that.

So it makes me blind,

All blind to find,

And that makes me a searcher.

However I saw all,

There is a rule to nature

In my tiny brain,

That flies temporary,

Around them who reflect me,

This gravity of love

Is what is normal,

It makes my wings to fight,

But also down to earth…

But I lived it, and when

It should be gone by light,

It returns for it is profound love,

And it’s not manipulated.

It must be European love...

Almost too heavy to carry-

And that without,

I even dreamt for it,

I wished for it to be as

Normal, and as light,

To take it forever with me;

But alas, it rests on my back,

Like a heavy sin;

Though I am strong enough to carry it;

To suffer it, and to listen to it,

So after all I come to

The conclusion;

It is so beautiful,

To just feel-

The weight of love,

So I can see you

Through a single touch…

When I turn around,

Even if it’s for a second

I do not care,

Love is flickering in my mind,

It always does, It’s a bond love

And I have.

And then it becomes the blind spot

The ever returning blind spot

Of transient beauty;

I know, I’ve entered

The real dream world

By then;

Where weight, transforms to light…

This transcendent realm, this universe outside the universe, where love is gravity, and the sun, and the moon, pulling and shining and controlling the tides that lap the waters of life against the shores of our existence. This world, this paradise of profundity, you must protect it, yes, but do not deny the splendour to all souls. We must share our love, for if we do not, what is it worth? Excellent poem, Elisa :)

Hi Sis, how are you, hope you like my abstract interpretation of your poem, hugs.

The character in the poem describes that is not easy for her to let persons into her life as she is very picky to who she invests her valuable time with, If they are able to share her same dreams she is willing to open her door.

Is described how she is careful with her valuable creativity because most persons souls lack ingenuity and fail to travel to different worlds through daydreaming.

Ah....yeah!!! Superb, Elisa. Really this one of my favourite love poems ever. You tell not tale of lace a roses but longing, compulsion with the hope of getting it right. Love is a heavy thing to carry but running from it not really an option.

At least I see four different
Dilapidated chambers each time,

These two lines set the standard and it is maintain from there.

Thank you so much dear, your words mean a lot to me! I'm happy you enjoyed this one. xx
Yes, I believe love is always flickering in your mind. You have a romantic soul, Elisa! Your words are lyrical and lovely. Your imagination must be a lovely place to wander. Thank you for allowing us to peek in on your images. There's no place like home, though, is there? When one realizes that, once has found serenity! My friend, the melody you chose to accompany your words is a haunting one. The entire package is a winner! Knuffels, Lydi**
