Every night, I look again

       Into the freckled sky,

             I think I shall never heal;

      Of being in love so deeply,

Surrounded by your love,

      And the sparkles of mist

            You spray softly on my skin,

      Yet, I remember; I was only

And alone, dreaming

      The sky high, in Portugal,

             And I must move on. Yes.

      Even though I will come

Back to you every night,

      So we can sleep together.

             As we do dream together

A skyline of our own...

I am in awe of your talent. Your words bloom on the page like morning glories at dawn's first light. Your fingertips are love and they spread deep affection to all who read. Each verse is as a soft woolen blanket wrapping me tighty and keeping me warm. More beautiful a poem would be hard to find. Loved this.

Before I even thought about reviewing, the first thing that came to mind while I was reading it was an Eagles song: "I want to sleep with you in the desert tonight, with a billion stars all around"

A truly sweet poem from a truly sweet person...I'm sure there's one other person that agrees too ;D This is one of the best you've done, a soulful and vivid declaration of love...I love the freckled sky and sparkles of mist especially...your travels are certainly feeding your creativity...awesome work dear sis, you should be proud of this one :) xoxo
