~ My Orange MoonA Poem by~ My Orange Moon, Elisa Laura, Full Moons, Poetry, May~ My Orange Moon
Thou shone so bright, The night of full moons, in me; Shall I ever be upon these clouds To follow thee?
Shall I be there, when it’s that day? Where could we mourn better, Than with our hands folded, On these unexpected stairway’s?
And where could I be taken? For the days, are more beautiful When surrounded in grey’s, Let me absorb you in my vast body…
To observe thee, in the most occult nights, I embrace thee with my invisible sight Thou shall not pass, the forlorn darkness Before I was there, I knew your light--
It was so fast, and high, I could reach out the scale of pain, Just to reach your top, up there-- Let me dwell in the glance of thee, fain
From a distant relieve, I shall salute, The longer passages of time so brute, Now wait me, for time is blank in so many forms; And color me, through these heavy chained storms
