~ A Poet Needs Patience

 

A poet should breathe, the air of everything,

And be happy even with silent moments,

A poet, should not ever rush or spin around;

Too fast, for supervision, too greedy for need,

 

A poet needs time to let it land,

Or take it more spontaneously,

Freedom to express, and paint,

Trueness that shall feed,

Not the upper need…

 

The poet’s brain in time and rest

Shall express the words at best…

My attempt at / to all the Writers and writer block's flying around here ... :D
I know I have a lot more of readers, than I have reviewers, but I don't care...
I write for me, and a few who I truly reach... (They know who they are... *grin*).

For me real life is more important then being around here, what I reflect here, is out of real life, experiences... dealing with my "first writers block in all the years" I've been writing, I never ever thought it would happen to me, still, it does, but how, you deal with it, is the key... ;-)

So embrace your "enemy, your Writers Block" and see words always come...

Just enjoy life, feel, live, dream, always, and breathe out, on the right moment...
Have patience with yourself... xx

I'm not here to be on top, I'm here to spread my thoughts, and to
enjoy good writers, and I read them always... they inspire me, as I inspire them.

Life should be relaxed, and easy... don't over-rush yourself...

Enjoy for it can be so over... xx

Whoa, you startled me with that picture love ;P I have unspeakable admiration for your unwavering optimism on writing and life in general...perhaps it just comes naturally, but knowing you as I do, and the battles you have fought and continue to fight, it must take incredible strength to retain such a refreshingly upbeat attitude.

I desperately want to take the advice you've offered in this piece, and maybe I will learn to do so in the future, but I have this need for attention...I don't have to be the top writer (though it used to irk me in the past, but not so much now, so maybe that's a start ;)) but it just gnaws on me that I don't get the attention that many others do here...now, I'm a competitive person on the basis of my hockey background, and maybe that's what makes me feel that way, but it feels more like selfishness...I get those feelings of resentment, then I feel guilty for not being more appreciative of the support I do get, for that's what's important...anyways, before I start writing a novel here in full view of the site, I'll cut to the chase and let you know what you already know, that you've become an incredible source of inspiration to me, and you're teaching me to be thankful for what I have even if you don't realize it...I'll be in touch soon sis...love and hugs in the meantime, and never change :) xoxo

My sweet brother, I'm in tears really, you mean the world to me, by saying all this, and also that you look so close to yourself too, it's such a honest and heartfelt review. I know you also on a different way, and I know you've been through a lot too, that's what gives us such a strong bond together... it's really touching to see you fighting with this, and I truly hope, you can relax a bit more, (for I've learned urgh, must have learned it too)... I was a true workaholic, until my body, didn't wanted me to anymore... just now, I chillax, and (not that I'm not compaetitive either) I did martial arts for years, and danced, and even turned).. all I have to let go, and replace for more creative arts, I can be satisfied with, painting/bodypainting/writing/music/piano/guitar etc... it keeps me alive in the meantime... So really, life is just life, but it's so soon over, I've learned to give and love and live a 300%... (maybe it's my fear)... it can be too soon over, on the other side I know how beautiful it can be... :) I can't thank you enough my dear you mean the world to me, love you muchly! xxx

Your poem gets me thinking about spiders: Life at its best is spent creating beautiful structures upon the wispy whims of serendipity. A spider is at her best as she's weaving each of her magnificent webs that fit the ambiance of her environment. Well fed spiders are the ones who impress as many succulent flies as possible by their works of art as they sparkle under the rising sun.

What a wonderfull thought my friend, it's all in the bugs, however a spider isn't one... ;-) thank you for this great insightful comment, however, I never be to attempt a "Black Widow" for I love men ;P... and you would be a perfect muse flying by as a "succulent fly" to bring me some inspiration as you always do, this one, came out of nowhere, in pure less than 5 minutes of real Writers Block mixed with relaxation... lol you see? next time I shall focus deeper, and we will work on that cat's write my friend... I will mail you about that, when ready! :)

Thank you so much my friend... for supporting this one. I'm for the first time in my life suffering from Writers Block, in all the years that I write, (probably because I did written about all already I and others can imagine), and for not feeling in my best health too. But I noticed, that if you just relax, it comes still.... weird? but it's zen ... :D thanks for being around, I will return the favor soon my friend.
