Today's poetry, out of the soul

~ Like some Wild Roses

Today, I looked at your many faces;

They hung as love under the perfect sky,

I swoon like a lover in silence,

For you and me are there

Beneath the Wild Roses

We become, the grass, the sand

The unconditional love,

With thorns around our stems,

We are entangled, as

We bleed into one.

But suddenly there were voices;

Calling me back,

So I did prepare the BBQ.

Daydreamish and full of happiness, not a single unpleasant care in the world is present here. How you can go from the most gorgeous and happy poetry to the darkest and most solemn with ease eludes me... My mind dwells no lit corridors. I think, that for a vacation i would like to visit your mind, and explore the world in your eyes and imagination.
The bbq part just jumped out of nowhere and made me smile. It was so random. lalalalala, look at the pretty flowers..... BBQ BABY!!!!!! :D

Surreal until reality beckons. I love the beauty and the amusing twist at the end. You always write such interesting pieces.

Thank you so much darling...
Nature has a way of submitting us into the entanglement of the moment... hypnotizing the eye of the beholder...
Summertime is like that...stunning beauty comes in many forms, whether it's "the perfect sky" or "wild roses". I enjoyed the atmosphere you have painted in this piece. A lovely write, Eli! XXXX :)

Great vision by your description and I like the ending. Some places are more alive with beauty and can steal our thoughts and vision. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
