Today's poetry, out of the soul

 

~ Like some Wild Roses

Today, I looked at your many faces;

They hung as love under the perfect sky,

 

I swoon like a lover in silence,

For you and me are there

 

Beneath the Wild Roses 

We become, the grass, the sand

The unconditional love,

 

With thorns around our stems,

We are entangled, as

We bleed into one.

 

But suddenly there were voices;

Calling me back, 

So I did prepare the BBQ.

Daydreamish and full of happiness, not a single unpleasant care in the world is present here. How you can go from the most gorgeous and happy poetry to the darkest and most solemn with ease eludes me... My mind dwells no lit corridors. I think, that for a vacation i would like to visit your mind, and explore the world in your eyes and imagination.
The bbq part just jumped out of nowhere and made me smile. It was so random. lalalalala, look at the pretty flowers..... BBQ BABY!!!!!! :D

haha... the ending... awakening from a fantastic dream of lovers in a garden, intertwined like the roots in the soil beneath these beautiful roses... and loving the roses... being the roses... you are a gardener I see, and definitely a dreamer... i loved the imagery in this dear Elisa.

We are in summer too love, that's why I can't sleep, urgh, also of many night shifts, I did lately it's hot muggy/moggy/and we have a huge humidity here. Sun is shining on full level, after my b-day on the 22th, the days become shorther though, but it's still light till 10:30 PM I think (I mean in the eve) did I said that right lol, I'm dyslectic in PM/AM always... for I think on French/Spanish terms. I will post you a pic now, LOL, still awake so who cares,... I'll do it on your profile wait me... :D I'm always thinking of you too real friendship and sisterhood have no need for explanation for we feel ;-) love you darling xx

haha... its terribly hot and yuck here too, but at least it's not late summer yet when it will be even worse... still, I need the air conditioning or I can't sleep either! Happy birthday again! OMY goodness, I saw it in the news, that in CA, and Vegas it was over a 125 F... now mister Euro Celcius won't even jump to get there LOL.... :D poor you all, drink enough water, and stay cool.... Oh you're the best luv, thankies, I'm now I guess for 18 days a 31'er and I'm proud of it LOL.... I feel old though.. ha! ;-) a vain problem, only.... Funny how the hot BBQ was actually the cold water splashed across your face in this one...such a serene and almost spiritual scene you paint....and then quickly remind us that, no matter the heights, reality is always just around the corner....

On the last line, I"d drop "did" or change "prepared" to "prepare"...just to make sure everything is on the up and up, grammatically ;)

A beautiful little snapshot of life, my friend. I love the sublime beauty of becoming a flower and then suddenly getting called back to the BBQ...because this is how I too lose myself sometimes. I will be doing something and suddenly I'm someplace completely different before I'm called back to reality. So pretty, my friend.

Suggestion: "I swoon like a lover in silence" instead of "in silent" or "I swoon like a silent lover"
