~ Let me kiss the Silence

My silent muse,

The only way I see you;

Is; “like a prince of forlorn decades”

The question is;

“Would you stay”?

When I will forget “the time”?

Sip from your glass of wine,

Finish the blood of pleasure;

We are falling stars of love…

For our sins we do

Control in our strength;

Days,  are maybe gone,

But nights lasts long

Longer than anything...

Let me drown, into your arms

That are velveteen steel;

Let me be forever there

For I feel safe, and home,

Next to your heart---

We were too soon,

On a frisky night of love;

A steamy place of grace,

Now we know flying time isn’t

Only important,

But level is…

The very soft sighs whereby

We see our muses flow

Richer than we still both breathe...

I embrace your gift,

Of another day;

The tattooed hearted love to stay,

For I am, just a simple glimpse

Into your whole universe

Of grace…

For now just let me kiss the Silence

Of your heart---

Because I’m near…

Author's Note

~ Let me kiss the Silence
was a write I made, when I hiked for a day long, I sat on my bench, in the sun, and there was a little bird, resting on a tree. I thought it would be nice, to share this into metaphor with you... for I don't believe I didn't felt a moment...
Thanks for reading, until soon my friends, when time permits. xx

On a lonely branch you watch me as I write, my thoughts and dreams fly to paper as you might to a new tree, on silent wings. Still I see you, though deep in thought of another who builds his nest in my heart, I fly to him on winds of spring as you my little friend, dance in the warm sun.

Very cool Elisa, so beautiful and warm and filled with love.

The almost solemn beauty of this write wrapped around me and carried me through the lines. Nature is such an inspiration for a poet. Elisa, this is overpoweringly lovely! Lydi**

Thank you so much my friend, I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
Haunting beauty in this... metaphors and poetic imagery simply enchanting.

To while away silent moments
sweet company so rare to find
Oh songbird! share with me a fleeting breath
and soothe this heart of mine....

Love, Peace and a huge hug for you too Sharonlee. always! x You are a gemstone!
The way I read this is you are teetering between fantasy and reality and letting us know that it is okay to be in the fantasy world as long as you want but you have to have some sort of balance between the two worlds. Even when you go back to reality you are always close by. This is just my interpretation of it and it and that is the beauty of poems to me people take from it what they need. xo

i feel the love that you always give to your muse... i read it over and over again and i felt fully loved by the poet's thought - as if it transcend and give a love vibes to your readers feelings... making us feel that we must love our muses for they are our soul's water, energy... and many more... a lovely feeling you give to us big sis... a great piece you have here...

I truly enjoyed the concept of this piece...it's almost a collusion with the enemy, but the enemy is your muse. Your muse is not really an enemy at all, just an impish and sometimes devilish shred of your own psyche personified. There is one bit metaphor here to be deciphered, but this begs reading the poem several times, which I have done and plan to do again. We search for the muse...but in reality, we are the muse. Hmmm...so thought provoking!

This to me is when our poetry is silent. When we have the stillness and no words of poetry come to mind. How we love those moments when inspiration flows and our muses stroke us with enrichment but how we loathe those moments when we are apart.

I saw you wrote this while hiking but I wanted to tell you what it spoke to me. Amazing job
