~Under the Spell

 In that night;

I couldn’t  see anything,

But only feel the

The wet casings of

Dense molecules,

Formed into an emulsion

And this compactness all around me;

In that day after;

I dwelled on the surface of

Nothing, between salt, and

Sea life I was;

I heard turbid noises,

Far away an intoxication of modernity

I was one, but only one with the mass...

In the next minute;

The silent slice of life

Moved through my being,

The suffocating glamour

Of a kiss mouth to mouth;

Danced within this white hole

Of memory; for now,

I awoke on land

In the next day;

I soaked in the air, like I was an amphibian,

Delightfully graced with my second life;

This cold, like thin freedom in your lungs,

The light in your eyes; “overexposed”

But the warm arm around your neck

And the smell of ozon…

Eli dear, you have a masterful write here. I love the mystic stories. I felt like I was hearing the song of the mermaids here... Now don't eat me please. ;)

One word seemed out of place. "I awaked" might be better *I awoke*
Loved this poem Eli and the music was perfectly combined to lift your words higher within the soul.

I am drawn to any thing "sea and humans". There is so much imagery here to keep me thinking. "Turbid noises": what an image? I love the juxtaposition of so many words here. And especially the "suffocating glamor of a kiss". A simple phrase can tell a long story and your words evoke a lot. Best, -Nihad
