~ The Man of Gold

When dark nights fell, and the sun was under,

          His bones started to petrify,

His body became bigger, his eyes opened wide;

          His lungs breathed the nighttime sky

He was made of bullion, inside his heart,

          His love was gilded like a real ray of gold

Human at day, a god at night, he seemed,

          He lived precious into his parallel world

His other half was far away,

          She was made of Silver with Ruby stones;

He always dreamed of her, when he felt alone,

          And embraced her with all his platonic bones

Their whispers crossed the universe,

          For they were made to merge like precious white gold

Now he had to turn human for the sun came up,

          So she could dream, of his voice, like a lullaby told

When dark nights fell, and the sun was under,
His bones started to petrify,
His body became bigger, his eyes opened wide;
His lungs breathed the nighttime sky===================>My favorite stanza, hooked me from the get-go!

This entire piece, Elisa, was an epic story, at least part of one, if an elegant, poetic prose. That thumping, battle score was an excellent accompaniment to an all ready outstanding presentation...

Magnificent!

Every now and then a leader is born, a king achieves a throne, a God is raised in flesh, no more worship of stone. This poem shows that prestige, that epic saga about to begin that will linger on history's tongue forever. Heroes stand out for their strength, so do your words. The strength and fantasy of this poem takes you to a place where the shadow of a warrior can cover the sun and you still feel the light shine upon your heart.

Wow, well said my friend... sigh... no words for you did move me with your review, truly!
Like the very plates of the Earth reaching to find the parts of themselves sheared off ages ago the lovers reach, but never touch...
Oh my was this strong Eli!
I had an Epic feel as I read this poem. I felt like I was reading the storyline to a great video game like "skyrim".

this one hits too close to home, for bizarre reasons too embarrassing to mention right now; maybe after a few drinks..i need to let it brew in my brain for 3-5 days and I'll get back to you

I like the somewhat classic style and wording you use here; I'm intrigued to read some more things after I move this couch and grab a beer

A write from somewhere else in the multiverse; where you are free to be and so is the object of your write. A remarkably creative piece of writing.

An epic romance that cross boundaries of Time and Space that's what i see in this fantasy filled romantic lovers between two distinct forms and culture but one that binds them into one embrace dispite the vast difference and space between them... love... the ever knowing ability of the heart to wonder accross the distance into just a step away...

A beautiful story in a poetic tale...
fantastic!

Although this was intended to be a fantasy, you scribbled a lot of truth on here which also existed in mankind. I've read somewhere that there was an ancient myth about the thread of fate. It says that we are all interconnected with a thread of fate. And this thread of fate is attached to all the people whose lives are destined to touch and need to fine each other. This thread of fate may tangle but it will never break. I just don't remember exactly where I read this but I remember the words. So like your poem, no matter the distance and no matter the irony, once two people are meant to find each other, the universe will conspire.
