The notes of your violin,

Cried, like painful, truth

Yet hidden in the strength

Of this perfect male sensuality

 

Only you could move me, on a record,

Like a marionette, of love, making me

A dancing doll for a moment, forgotten by

All time due, rush…

 

Melancholic pleasure-

Soaking into the deep

Black hole, of being lost there,

Together, but powerful together alone;

 

On distance, I dance with you,

So close inside of my heart

We breathe the music of passion

Like we play and sing as one

 

With every gasp you took;

Whilst playing your wooden child;

 

I fell in love, and deeply in love with you,

With your music, before we ever met

 

Your hair beautifully dark as the night,

Your eyes, could draw a landscape by their own;

A sea of loneliness, wherein I could drown -

 

Your hands, as soft as silk,

Playing so gracefully in distance for me,

 

A medley of tears, for me to catch,

I would save them like little raindrops,

In this glass I’m holding,

 

I will keep them forever safely,

Next to the shell of joy,

So I can hear, but also watch,

Music makes my skin tingle all over...
I could feel this write and I enjoyed the music you placed here as well.
There are a few areas I would suggest changes only because I think this write is one of the very special voices of music in this world. Like music, refined and practiced to perfection.
So here are a few suggestions to take or leave.
Maybe this is presumption on my part and maybe you will leave it as it is...
I would change the "met/meet" issue for sure and I would drop the "And yes, sure,..." line to read smoother.
All of this said, your words moved me today. I had chills when I read your poem. It was a lovely gift to read. I hope this is helpful.

I think it is a language translation issue... like the word "overlook" when you mean to say look over. I'm glad I did not offend you. The poem was inspirational Elisa! It is my pleasure to be of any help.

Yes, my brain is always Dutch, and as we speak here a lot of NetherEnglish, it is confusing sometimes... as we just turn words quite differently around. Nice you catched that one :) no, I'm never offended, I'm here to learn, and happy with persons who help me out....

Moving? My life is a toss up day by day... Hubby is transitioning from one career and his prospects are all over the map. A bit like a roller coaster for the next few months. He'll be home in 5 weeks - then who knows! ;-)

I remember you talked about one of your children moving to another part of the large country, one had an accident, pardon me if my memory let me down.... that's why I spoke out the word moving.... Oh, you have been away! My son went to college. He's now home for the summer. Daughter had a car accident... But besides terrible anxiety since, she's fine. My husband has been living away for 2 years. It's been the craziest 2 years of my life! :) but discovered myself more, and found I'm stronger than I ever imagined. It's all good. Everything works out eventually :)

Oh dear, so proud of you. How you handle this. You're a strong woman, I always knew, when I watch someone into the eye, and see it, I see it, and with you I know you are. Green beautiful eyes.
