~ There at HomeA Poem by~ There at Home, E.L. Elisa Laura, Fantasy, Fiction, Mystery, Secrets, Cave, Home Love, Peace...~ There at Home
A new day was there, I woke
up into this huge cave As big as a mouth of an
animal of forlorn times The sun reverberated through
the caverns, I stretched myself, and smiled, I
was ready for a new day
He stood there, in the line
of the sunlight Too far away to see his
face, but I knew he was Off duty today, and human…
slowly I walked to him “Where are we”? I asked, He
answered: “you’re home”.
I didn’t needed to know
more, it felt as home, And every breath I took,
translated my heart Into little smaller pieces
of happiness Here was no hate, or sorrow,
it felt just peaceful
Many sound effects echoed
through the cracks, White gulls flew by, and
sang their own song And then I felt his warm hand on
my shoulder, “Let’s go outside, my lady, I'll show
you my secret”.
