~ The Silent Rose

Words spoken out loud,

In a dream of silence

Days, run away like trains

On rusty railways

Doors open, for new passengers

But I'm holding on my rose,

Petals with each a story

To climb in my daily mind

To tell me; as they keep me moving

With the color of deep red

Fragrance and mortality,

Are born in little treasures...

I Watch them fall down

Piece by piece slowly on my knee

Splendid imagery in this one, Elisa. I could almost see the petals falling slowly and tickling her knee. The music is hauntingly beautiful! "Days, run away like trains on rusty railways" heart touching emotion here, my friend. Excellent work. Knuffels, Lydi**

Hi dear, thankies :D
There is a lot of great imagery here. I love the idea of the rose in opposition to the more metallic and industrial things like railways and trains. Nature vs. Industry...with a little romance added in. Nicely done.

This is such an awesome poem. Your beautiful imagery of rose petals and the train yard really paint a magnificent painting in my head.
