~ Sakura, a tribute, to my lovely sister Horizon K. Her photo made me poetic, her skills, always inspire me, and her love and friendship is so precious to me! so sis, here you go.... one for you xxx
~ This picture is made by my dearest sister Horizon K.
an Californian Sakura, just in blossom and so alive right now, as we in Europe
still have to wait a little longer, till april or may…. as we are
both in love with the “Sakura” this is a tribute to Horizon K’s Skills…
For her beautifully photograpy and for her honest and
awesome poetry and writings here on Writers Cafe I love you sister... xxx
~ Sakura
Spring arms embrace your soul in light of all
universes
While winters just ignored the time of justice wrong,
Now we breathe the space of gracefully warmth,
While we felt the pain just for too long…
I treasure thee, in the longest years of inferno
The days, of no colors and light in sight…
The pain of hidden secrets in landscapes
And the most lovely frozen denial of fight…
Here you are my colored blossom of pink hue,
Against the sunny stairway of heaven
Your delight the day, and whispers of the night
Are heared when you for a short time shine upon us
Dearest Elisa, I love this beautifully worded poem & I love you! I am always awaiting spring and the sudden blooming of the Sakura, and it lasts for such a short time, and the fragile petals are so easily blown away by the winds and spring rain, which make me appreciate them even more!
It does not snow where I live, though I can see it on the nearby mountains, but i can feel your cold and longing for winter's end and spring's blossoming in your words...
"Now we breathe the space of gracefully warmth,
While we felt the pain just for too long…"
I don't know why but it did seem to come so early this year here in Southern California! In fact there only seemed a short breath between fall and spring this year, there were even days when the fall leaves still clung to the trees yet the spring flowers were already blooming.
And for you, I will go on a Hanami picnic this weekend and take pics, before these beautiful ephemeral blossoms that you and I treasure blow away...
A beautiful poem and I am so happy to inspire you in any way!
Love you!

"I treasure thee, in the longest years of inferno" You always come up with such powerful lines that evoke emotions and quiet contemplations... Well done!
Wow. I am still amazed by your passion with words. You write so beautifully. I have never seen cherry blossoms myself, since I live in the desert. But you make them seem sooo lovely. I would love to see some someday.
