The silent whispers of death do come to us well before our time is up. They remind us to cherish every day and to live each day as if it was the last. After hearing those whispers, a person is changed forever. This explains why your poetry is so deeply moving, sweet friend. May you be able to write it for many years. Knuffels, Lydi**

Desire is pouring from your words. The need, the want but the realization that it is all or nothing. The picture you created in my mind was one of wonderment and softness, pure colors running into one another. The silence so loud, yet so beautiful, trance like. I could hear the river rushing, the splash as you enter, the hope and then the sadness. this was stunning. It is as if I gazed upon a beautiful painting that spoke tender words to me.

Thank you very much Jack, for your time, and review your words are so appreciated. -- Elisa
When you stood there upon the stream
Your eyes, so pointed at me,
I tried, but couldn’t reach you
Just too much water in between
It is powerfully hurting to be so near with the one we love yet we feel so far;
it will only gives us fleeting desire to dive in to the water to just feel his heartbeat.
A bitter sweet taste of love.

Thank you very much for these words sister Belle, xx
To try so hard to connect, but yet unrealized. Hearts that cannot speak to each other, despite the efforts. And whispers, though heard, not deciphered. And I agree with sithlordjp below, this was incredibly dreamlike. And so fluid in its form, through your words and your feelings and this water you have drawn, that I am moved.
And dearest Elisa, you know how we are so truly connected? I just wrote a poem that this so reminds me of... I haven't put in on WC though since it didn't feel finished yet....

Some good things are not meant to be more than a moment. They just take their place in your heart in a while to prepare you for the next time. I loved the imagery, my dearest. Thank you for sharing.

I'm willing to wait for that 'one day', Eli:) You are always welcome.
Oh Elisa, what a wonderful piece this is... To have love jsut in front of you, and to be unable to reach it, is heartbreaking. Really great use of imagery throughout. The treacherous water, element of life... easily turned into an elemet of death, the death of love... "Just too much water in between" The fear to drown, to be suffocated, an emotion so similar to being pulled away from the One we care about. I liked the dream like quality of some of your lines, such as: "Lips moving like a slow motions act" I was deeply moved by that last stanza. The loss is felt. By replacing the river by: "And moved along my road," I pictured a silent, cold and dry highway, with no exit in sight...

And you with me...all the best Elisa, stay strong :)
Has such a sad, dreamlike quality to your words. The impotency of being just out of reach, too late, unheard. The soft urgency of the words could be the fear of a close bond breaking, but the last line shows they will always be there with you. Beautiful images your words always create in my head Elisa
