The silent whispers of death do come to us well before our time is up. They remind us to cherish every day and to live each day as if it was the last. After hearing those whispers, a person is changed forever. This explains why your poetry is so deeply moving, sweet friend. May you be able to write it for many years. Knuffels, Lydi**

"So I cried in silence,
And moved along my road,
Still hearing those whispers
Those silent whispers,
And near me a heartbeat of yours" / Ahhhhhh Lovely Expression!
Coming across the river, perhaps death, to greet the one she would be with.
A beautiful write full of archytypal imagery that resounds across lives. A remarkable set of wishes that seem to come from the soul of the writer. I am very impressed and moved.

It was a real vision, when I was very ill, before I passed out, last June, now all is ok though... :) Maybe I was afraid to lose my man, and never come back... thank you.
Silence never said so much; you've captured mannerisms and the significance of actions
as well as the reactions and have told a story that is about more than life and death,
but about love and trust and the effect of silence; how it can equal a lie- at least that's what i got.
this is Great!

Love may appear to be painful at times but it's just an illusion. Love is all there is. It's beautiful and blissful, always. When I read this piece it brought back memories of the many relationships I have been in. Excellent job.

Hello dear, thank you so much for your words... they always mean very much to me, hug!!
Love has a way of being its own master or mistress, can warm - can chill, can drown -, can thrill ..and seems through your quite beautiful poem to drift into disappearance and a little of one's heart goes along .. tis a sad piece of writing. I so want to wrap a hug around its emotions.. and you.

This is haunting...I have chills reading this...(my heart is broken)...
The ending takes me to a place of silence in which pain is a whisper that keeps talking to your heart. Heartache pours in this beautiful piece. Amazingly expressed Sis. ~xo~
"But on the end of the river
I found your body there, and all alone
Not knowing, I moved myself with you
I must have jumped into the river,
But alas, I was too late, you were gone…"~ This leaves me awestruck.

WOW! What a great poem of silence when silence shouldn't be there at all. I can really see the river in my mind, you and your lover on each side of it, screaming in silence. Haunting, unforgettable.
