"A long day resulted extended" yes, like those long summer days, when the sun slowly goes down for what seems like hours... Like lovers, trying to extend a kiss so they won't have to say goodbye just yet... And to avoid a fight, those "The tears of our universe", because when love is threatened, it feels like it's the whole world that is in danger. But in the water, in each drop of the warm summer rain, arguments can be washed away, and emotions can be renewed, reborn... Happiness is not found on a highway that makes you save time, but in these "The roads through the side? the side window?"... But rather on a long, appreciated detour toward what matter most. More dust on that road, but through that dust resides hope.... I really enjoyed reading this one Elisa, like so many of yours, it's full of superb imagery and just a feast of imagination and words... Well done ! 100/100

Where is the days council? so far away?
If our threads never separate
On the early morning sun
And our place is wet from the rain
A love felt in mid, through each journey
And by ground so unfinished ...
By growing in each flowering
Breath of life, each cell of our brain
Any thoughts flowing like water
And the days are numbered, but never counted out
In infinite minds like we share…
Inside your poems are many other poems, all of which remind me to breathe and focus, not on the past and it's darkened path but on the future where love is like a sonnet on the breeze, and every spirit of love whispers "Elisa knows your heart, go read, go and be liquid dear" lol.

There is something about the rain that draws lovers in tight. And when I think of life and love it is all part of the journey; the road, the road you have written about. In the last stanza of your poem you write about the idea that the journey does not have to be relegated to a single road ––––with a single direction––––but there are side streets, too. With false starts, and rest areas. Love is complicated, no?
A wonderful set of analogies and metaphors Elli. Thank you for allowing us to hitch a ride, onto your journey:)

dearest friend, I find this really beautiful in the ways of love, on the way road and rain... Rain have such a romantic feel to it that makes it mesmerizing electrifying our skin making through our heart then to the mind... having an electric urge to feel love... and you have done it here...

A perfect write for a rainy night/day, filled with turmoil and questions. Why is the rain causes us o reflect so deeply, I wonder. I can read it in your words and your thoughts here. Lot's of frustration but yet a comforting read, I guess that's what rain does.
'And the days are numbered, but never counted out'

' Yes, I found you on my way to what I missed ~ And you found me.. '
'Colours glowing in the rain, streams filtering the greens and reds, rainbows flickering on earth .. tis beautiful. And there you are with roving thoughts and feelings about that other person, precious in every way and at every moment. What amazingly vivid pictures you portray, Elisa! Love it, as you know i would.

Thanks luv, you're the bestest! ♥ always in my thoughts, and heart sweet Em X
Great job on the contrast between the traffic lights and the Northern lights, Eli. It gave me the visual of two people shining like the aurora borealis in the rain, light refracting off of the wet pavement, swirling together. That is some beautiful imagery. It reminds me that even on those busy, dreary days, when we can only focus on the road ahead of us, we should still check our peripherals because love can be hiding right beside us.
Lovely poetry, sis. Even in the rain, you still shine like a star :)
