~ The Land of Her

Let her sleep in beauty’s landscape

Do not ever wake her up

Leave the little birdies singing

For she is dreaming in her cup

Let the trees play with all fresh air,

And  let the climate change

Let every season but to come

And accept this isn’t strange

Do never touch her sensitive skin

Before she will be awake

Dance with her thoughts while she’s asleep

That’s the beauty you should take

Powerful write Eli, I could feel the emotion in this. So I went and read it like a few times more :) I know the path, peace and tranquillity, but the small things within that world, couldn't allow it because without the Land the small things wouldn't have a place and there would be a humongous gap. But all things knew, butterflies and ants alike, that they couldn't speak only pray... Well done Eli you wrote a fabulous poem!! :) loved the way you wrote this well done.

A lovely, dreamscape piece. What I really liked about this was the fragility of your subject, the fragility of ...sleep. I am thinking how sometimes the dream world is better, than the real one. And that sometimes it is better to sleep. no?

A meditative and contemplative poem, Elli. And that song was mesmerizing. I shall play this before I sleep/ tonight

Never wake her, let her sleep and admire the beauty that she is and all you see around her. Lovely

I will whisper my review then because I do not want to wake her up. Love is something that should be treated gently. Touched tenderly. Spoken to softly. So are dreams. Let her drink her tea and be soothed.
Beautiful work on this, Eli.

This is like a hypnotic mantra, a tonic to drink and calm the beast. It's soothing words wind around the mind and clears the chaos and mellows the pandemonium. So exquisite Eli. Love it.

When love is first shared there is some sense of decorum. A 'fear' if you will that is born of mix of adoration, respect, and insecurity. In those days passion must wait and the joy of her peaceful sleep is better than the carnal needs being satisfied.
This disappears but returns with mixes of seasons. I like the image you bring to mind here.

It is a beautiful dream you have painted here.
It reminds me of what I have learned to try to do just as I am waking.
I try to capture the moment to find what my sub-conscious has for me right then.
Because right then we are still connected, and then it is like sand running through your fingers and it is so quickly lost. That is what the dance with her thoughts speaks to me about. Many times I capture an idea for something new to write about right then. I have a poem I wrote called In The Morning that talks about this creation time, my experience. Very well done, I enjoyed it very much.

Very faerie tale and dove like Elisa! I like the idea of a muse being somewhat untouchable, then we dream and live their imagination.
