Ah yes, the Pegasus, most noble of creatures amongst the fantasy population of the mind. Not quite real perhaps, yet as real as the words it inspires... I can see why you were attracted to write about it. I see the "Observing new land" you mentioned as all the possibilities the blank pages offers to the poet. So I was most satisfied with that beautiful ending: " With the poet on his back" Makes perfect sense, to use the Pegasus to bravely charge into the unknown regions of our art... A beautiful poem Elisa, thanks for sharing! :)

This was magical! I loved it, you have such an excellent way with words. Pegasus is such a wonderful, beautiful mystifying creature. It's so fascinating, for me anyway.
There are so many amazing lines in this poem that I cannot pick any one of them because you write so beautifully!
Well done, lovely! xox

O'right. I found it, Dear.
I have known Pegasus as creation of Zeus,
created to be a friend and guardian of Hercules.
Now, here you have penned something for him a bit different.
I liked it. And yes, the lyre tune stirred my soul.
Oh yes, Pegasus. I was really intrigued upon seeing this piece on my timeline. I had to have a read and I am so glad that I did. You have definitely captured our friend Pegasus so well within this piece. I love it. Thanks for sharing Elisa :)

You're welcome. It's always a pleasure reading your work :)
extravagance in wings the pegasus fly by and the poet in his back is at her bloom beauty.... shines o bright one, give us showering words of love and strenght in your way... be bless dear one :)
Wow wow!! ; ) I felt like a kid again, taking walks down the echoing hallways of my little feet slapping the floor in art exhibits, getting lost in the personal connection to each individual piece I arrive at!! Beautiful poem, in both that your lines are not short and confusing bursts of absurdity, and that they are in compliments with the stanza succeeding. It took this long to come across you on here? lol This is absolutely beautiful. I am so tired and at the same time, I am finding myself most curious as to how you have found what performs as your muse for you. Beautiful job...... xoxo -Mark
