Just wanna say first off that the picture really helps visualize this piece and that the third stanza really helps describe the picture. It's always tough to feel as if we have no hope or no way of resovling our problems. A world without light would then depend on darkness. A world without problems would depend on peace and harmony. If at all, we always have to depend on something along the road.

That's an interesting way to look at it, a heart as your compass...

I am not sure if this piece or you even need another review, but I mostly just want to add my compliments to a very nice piece. 'The additional video adds to it, but maybe I am just being old school here, but to me the purpose of poetry is to "paint the mental picture"...and if it is successful a visual aid, so to speak, seems contra indicated and seems almost a statement of insecurity of the work...... but just my very humble opinion expressed, not a judgement of the effort. Good job!

I just listen always to music, 24/7 and when I hiked this song was on, so I merge it with the poetry of the vivid moment. I know what you mean with that. Some are without music on my page... some are with. As I do love variety and the whole picture, (I had with it, and I felt with it) Much appreciated you came here. Thank you.

Yes, I've already accepted you :-) may we share lot's of inspiration! thank you for the request.
I Like the somber feel coupled with the symbol of freeedom at the end, the eagle ready for flight. There is a sense of darkness and confusion, but unexpectedly comes the hope, lighting the way, which is such a buoy to the forlorn soul.

Wow, Eli, those moments we feel lost in that space.....you have said it so well. It is like searching around forever looking for that oasis. I really like the imagery, both of the picture of mazes, and in your words. The snow makes it seem more frozen...more vast. And the Eagle, looking over this scene, watching with its keen eyes....so interesting. I really like this, my friend. It leaves me with a feeling of emptiness but calm. Very nice work!
