~ Endless

The road was difficult

Days without light

Suffocating narrowness

Claustrophobic smallness

Little breath

Wandering in

The last pure power

A living dream

An endless battle

The metamorphosis

Now from the mountain looking

On the doomed fields

The landscape without water

The grim without hope

No light in sight, ever ~

Wings were spread

Senses sharp

The eagle left

While marking his footsteps

On the snowy top

Just wanna say first off that the picture really helps visualize this piece and that the third stanza really helps describe the picture. It's always tough to feel as if we have no hope or no way of resovling our problems. A world without light would then depend on darkness. A world without problems would depend on peace and harmony. If at all, we always have to depend on something along the road.

You're right. This does parallel the thoughts conveyed in my piece. Except yours is calm and unnerving... it displays a portal of transition to the unknown. Frightening, yet intriguing. A unique writer you are.

I got lost in these words for a moment... But the best part is, I wasn't in a hurry to find my way back. I walked around, with my thoughts, with your words: "Wandering in / The last pure power" like you said... Well done, and thanks for sharing.

This reminds me of an elongated Haiku; very nicely conveyed, the scene.

This is uplifting, no pun intended. Relaxing imagery that saddens me in the end, but in a good way.
Feels like the journal of a traveler; a lonely one.
Great piece!
