~ She

She…

She is the sun and the moon in me,

She is the dream that could ever be

The dream world of lost glorious times

Just to live… she….

She is just

The purity of the tender soul

A humbling creation inside every one

She want you to see… just pure beauty

Yes, that is she

She…

She is the sparkle of love in me

The little one that is hiding to be

The time passes by but she….

She is always there when I need to be,

Loves me back just that tenderly

When it’s too late to be she,

She will always remind me of

The love for new days, yes

That is she...

So is she…

The only true one that can make me smile

The most precious soul of the universe,

Nothing will ever be sad… as long as

She…

She still dances the rumba inside of me

Laughs at the people who need to be

Happy in love, and not feel that free

And to all who are sad,

She...

She wants you to be stronger

Than you’d ever be, she wants you

Healthy in each moment,

Even when you’re ill, she is always there

So is she…

She… she is

The most valuable one I ever seen,

The most tiny sweet love of me

I know her so well

As my heart beats the same,

So is hers…

              So is hers…

She, she is one soul to accumulate

One heart in my body to see

That is she...

i love this, Elisa.

i look at this from another angle...i feel as if my poems are my children...and the she in this poem, for me, is the muse...

she never lets me down...she is the one relationship i have sustained in the last 40 plus years, even though all of my others have come and gone.

this perfectly depicts that for me.

thank you for this

A beauty of wonder from the heart of the child within, who reminds us of who we truly are. Beautiful words, as always Alise :-)

such a soothing tone in the poem just like everyone said it: just like a lullaby. I feel nice reading this, it gives a sense of loving warm feeling on the subject of a child. Yes, a smile of a child a day takes away the weariness of the whole day... a lovely dedication all children's and parents out there. Thank you for sharing this dearest friend.

"She" is connected to us all... the core of strength, love, peace, and happiness, can be found in her. From young to old, "she" will always be there.
This is a multifaceted gem you have written Eli!...a lullaby to cherish.

So happy you did.... sis :) Hugs!
You sparkle EL like no other and certainly at no other time. There is no greater
accomplishment of mankind than the love of eachother, the approval and
accreditation of the youngest among us. This is a very tender song sung
by a very tender songstress.

Were the Neanderthal's capable of love? Wherever there was warmth
(woman, children) wherever the distillation of a man becoming complex
and responsive to experience and cultivation (sex and childbirth) there must
have been love. And not just longing and knowing but true sophisticated
love.

The love you speak of here is primal, first in importance.
Though primative. fabulous, dana
