~ Like Mountains and Streams

Where does love grow?

On top? where I breathe thin air

And where days will turn into light

For I will be there

O' great lover of yester years

What of you shall become?

If time of years dances

On your rough edges

And peace always will deform

Icy foam sloshing against

The sharp forms of your vast corpo

Cut shapes by centuries

Still it hurts from ages ago

So fresh you are onto knees high in;

The voice of the golden glacier stream

Crossing you slowly, passing you by

Where each era I sing to you

A tiny lovers scream

Far away from home.... and I was hiking, and got inspiration...

Amazing, truly inspired by your love of nature and of the ancients. The ancients whisper to us the secrets, the hidden treasures, through nature for those who are awake and ready to receive. As we are more and more aware of what is happening in our lives, we are shaped, our rough edges polished, our dreams molded into what they were always meant to be. This is where love grows, in the awareness, in the processes of truly living of becoming, this is what becomes of the great lover of yester years. Truly inspiring, you once again have touched my heart so deeply, blessings to you sweet heart.

The voices of nature will call. Maybe not from your lazy -boy but as you make the last reach of the bend of fight the heat to finch the fench line. The last mile of your 10 mile run your mind can be the most clear and ready to receive. I got my boots ready lets go.

My pleasure.
This echos of lost love complex by nature. The universes strings are all connected in some way and therefore nature connected to human emotions. Love the visuals in this piece.

We climb the highest peaks willing to do anything for love. To find it. To see it. To see it. To taste it.
Failing, we descend down the path of life. All of it catching on the slopes around us. Condensing and gathering. Then we find ourselves in the valley wading thru the streams of our lost and found crying up to the mountain... As we walk past the streams that hold all of our questions and answers to cool the aching heart. My take...
You made me go all poetic EL...
Loved the write. Love the mountains and bath in the streams.

I've spent some time looking at glaciers and their work, but I haven't ever, until reading your poem, thought about the slow work of love on our own human landscape, so much like the grinding down that is possible, and the revelations made so much like the work of those mile-deep ices.
