~ I had a Dream

 

When I dozed off into a deep sleep

Curled eyelashes smiled

Cheeks blushed and

My mouth that peaceful

 

I saw a new world,

One of pink travels

Cotton visions

And surreal love

 

I had a dream

 

I walked through

Shadowed roads

Winked to silken skies

Smelled the Cherry Blossom

 

Danced in circles

Sung out loud

Faced my youth

Into deeper levels

 

I had a dream

 

Heard a violin, a Cello

And some piano notes

I touched the sky

And kissed the ground

 

Walked by the fields of hope

Resting and lying on my back

Then I smiled and smelled

My pillow

 

I must have had a dream

I think it's interesting how we are able to do anything in our dreams as opposed to real life...also see anything, touch and smell anything, go anywhere we'd like. Our minds always take us to new places or just the places we'd like to be. Our dreams are the perfect place for fantasy to take place :)

That is so true dear friend. I have each night at least 2 vivid dreams, sometimes more, and always when I am just about to wake up.... "A vivid REM sleep" this one I had the first of January... Thank you so much for your words, thoughts, and philosophy with a most interesting subject, dreaming... :)

Yeah, I've had some interesting dreams lately. I don't remember quite what they were about, but I do know they took me to a new place that set me free.

Yes, it really is :) Put a huge smile on my face and left me in a daze when I woke up. I was thinking about what happened and where I went all day.

Thank you Yasmin, yes it was as simple as dreams can be, I just wrote it like I dreamt it. (as I always have a dream diary next to me) I'm a student in dreams.... they are most interesting. (so I think hehe) thank you for picking the lines out that gave YOU the feeling of connection with.

What a wonderful dream this is indeed! I can say that I would love t have a dream such as this one. It brings a lot of hope for the new year as it enters a place that seems quite a lot like a paradise. It was a pleasure reading it and it left me in a state of peace. Great music as well--very soothing.

I for one loved dreaming to the extent of loving it more than reading a best selling novel or watching 3D films. In dreams, I can be anybody or in any situation I haven't expected me to be and everything is unpredictable. But they say that dreams has a spiritual connection to the one that dreams. Dreams are said to represent our world of imagery in which our darkest fears, deepest secrets, and most passionate fantasies break out from the unconscious mind and only at this time become present to our own consciousness. So now I know what your fantasies are:)
