Ah yes... I dive right back in and I am greeted with greatness once more! Two stanzas, like the two wings of the raven. Short, sharp words, like those eyes that can see so clearly far into the horizon... These inked wings will spread words to foreign regions of the world. Words to bring hope in a time of pain. Unable to rest, still, as the raven must travel even further... the hymn is not done, and more ravens must answer her call...
Another great one Elisa, thanks for sharing! :)

The last line just grabbed me! I imagine the pain of a mother or the sensative heart of any woman. How much more they must "feel" the hurts in this world. Yet we find that from these "frozen" breasts, the song that warms the whole world is sung. A wonderful veiw of the Raven. The pain of death brings with it's ghostly wings the song of promise. A lot of symbolic posture in this write.
Thnak you for the enjoyable read.

There are so many different Ravens, it's an interesting bird.
Many portray ravens as passive and indifferent. As they were guides and knowledgeable seers, maybe such a portrayal is accurate. Still, your portrayal paints the raven as being enthusiastic, ready to sing her hymn wherever the wind takes her. It is a nice break from the typical silent, brooding and, sometimes, evil harbingers of omen. The visual quality here is very nice, especially the very last line. Short and sweet, very nicely done. It is a pleasure reading your work.
And welcome back :)
