She isn’t afraid of what will come

In darker realms of pain in life

She spreads her black inked wings

To fly into savoury skies

 

Her visions cannot stop

For her mind so often wants

As she knows how to sing her hymn

From frozen chest, into warm lands

Ah yes... I dive right back in and I am greeted with greatness once more! Two stanzas, like the two wings of the raven. Short, sharp words, like those eyes that can see so clearly far into the horizon... These inked wings will spread words to foreign regions of the world. Words to bring hope in a time of pain. Unable to rest, still, as the raven must travel even further... the hymn is not done, and more ravens must answer her call...

Image packed and beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen a raven. Just heard of
one or watched as others wrote of one. They must be quite beautiful and majestic.

I've never looked at a raven this way before, and likely won't look at them in any other way again...frozen chest into warm lands, an indelible image...this is a new and fresh perspective on an animal that is often looked at with negative connotations...your words have changed that, and given it a new and unique identity :)

The Raven is just one of the most intelligent birds on earth, and works together with the wolf too... signing aspects to eachother, by hunting a prey, the Raven most people speak of as read in Poe's work, is dark, but there are Raven's in black with a white spot on their feathers, those often seen as the good ones... there are good and bad Ravens, like humanity is too~ that's interesting isn't it? :) that shows for me the intelligent factor of the bird... x

Now I'm curious wich animal you mean.... I have a rare feeling it is an animal from Japanese designer's art? ;-) lol or just a hippo? who knows... lol :D

LOL Well I've always had a bit of an affinity for owls, snowy owls in particular (big surprise there haha) so maybe it's him, but I never really thought about it in any real depth...I also love Japanese art, so who knows indeed haha ;D

Haha, omg owls, yes, big surprise, but otherwise, really beautiful you choose the owl.... the one with the marvelous neck in 270 degrees, turning 3/4 of the value, it is an interesting bird, a one with great ears, who listens, (as you do too) because the ears are spread on the owls beautiful head :) ha! funny you do love Japanese art too amazing :)
