~ Rehab

"

Just breathe a little, in between the lines... LOL

"
~ Rehab

Every poet needs a rehab
From writing now and then,
If it is just a writer's block
Or climbing above your pen...

We all need time to breathe,
For what lays closest to our souls
To balance simplicity, or just enjoy,
Real life and all the lucky goals...

Author's Note

This is a write just out of silence,
Happiness and being out of writerscafe for a long time.
It can bring purity in simplicity, and
not the slave of your pen.

Thank you,
xx E.L.

Rehab is now the new term for re-entanglement. :)
I used to wonder if the Philosophers have really lived a philosophical life, and I used to often ask if poet's life is really as adventurous as his writings. And then when I had the chance to study Literary Criticism I have learned that writers writings dominate him/her life.

So I agree with this thought Dear Eli:
Every poet needs a rehab
We all need time to breath

What is it there to write/to record, to share if we will tie ourselves most of the time in front of this window and not to live life outside the window.

Another good thought Dear Eli. Thank you for sharing.

I think we have all experienced this, and written about it...writer's block, but I don't think I've ever read about it in the way that you have expressed it in this sweet, sublime little piece. Beautifully done.

Thank you so much dear friend... I hope to be back soon x Your words always mean the world to me!
How true is this great piece! :) After all, without breaks once in a while, wouldn't we run out of things to write about? Life has to be experienced on the other side of the window from time to time. I see creativity like a muscle, we can't expect it to be flexing like if in a constant Olympic competition. It needs to recharge. When I finish a story that I've spent many days on, I usually dissapear for a few days, totally exhausted. But eventually, another idea starts to build, and grows until it needs to be put down on paper, and e start the cycle anew! Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed it!

ahhh well...
I am just beginning to feel the addiction.
I am so new to this I feel the need to learn so much, but yet it comes to me so freely. I do get caught up in shamanism and writing and now reading, enjoying everyone's work here. I am so much more alive than a year ago. It makes me smile to now know the meaning of Dylan "I was so much older then, I am younger than that now". Bob Dylan is my all time favorite writer, did you know he has written almost 600 songs. I have seen him live twice a couple of years back. Thanks for the advice in this, I will remember to take breaks and keep it fresh.

Thank you very much Annie :-) glad to see you by!
Some need to escape writerscafe for Rehab and others join for restoration.
I personally have got a life but also enjoy pottering around this garden, doing a bit of reading and writing all very therapeutic it is too. I like your observation and thank you.

Comparing rehab to writer's block is pretty damn brilliant. It's an annoying break from your addiction. I love this El! :)

Always a pleasure. :)
This was very well put and so true, and you said it in very little words. I have the problem when I start writing I don't want to stop, but I have children and I have to pull myself away so that I can be mommy first :) Having rehab would also help get more ideas for them to write about.

This short poem says so much. Yes, we all need a break from our thoughts to enjoy real life. We can always come back to writing once we've lived alittle, to breathe.

I love breathing in life and poetry, such as the Rehab you have described brilliantly.
It is true that we all need time to breathe, give ourselves some space from other people to think. Organize our thoughts. I guess our writing space could be our personal rehab. Interesting lines you give in this poem, some good inspiration for some people.
