~ To My Strongest

When by the purest me, I am

Bathing the darkness away

Where nothing but knowledge rests

Where purity speaks through

And where facts sweet hope

I am still breathing, on this planet

Where you breath too…

Your wish is to torture,

To slaughter me, even

To hang me on the biggest tree

But hey, “listen”

I’m not made for thee

Too free, too me, I am

You ne’er handle me,

Like his hands are velveteen

His words a living dream

When I’ll die, it will be simply;

With a bullet, and a smile

No drama, or lament

O’er me just perfect love

And stylish we’ll vent
